Facebook Policy Changes
As of November 2012, Facebook have changed the way apps like GigaTools can act on your behalf to make posts on your Facebook pages and profile.
Previously you could give permission to apps like GigaTools to act on your behalf indefinitely and if you wanted to disable this ability you could simply disconnect your GigaTools profile from your Facebook profile.
Facebook have now changed these rules which unfortunately means you will now have to reconnect GigaTools to Facebook every 60 days in order for GigaTools to be able to announce your Gigs and create events on your behalf.
This change to the Facebook rules will effect every app that you grant permission to, to act on your behalf when you’re not logged in to Facebook.
We realise that this change by Facebook is a major inconvenience to everyone and we have taken steps to make this as painless as possible for all GigaTools users.
